Are you interested in learning to use the plants around you as medicine to maintain good health as well as treat common day to day health issues? In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the basics of foraging and medicine making. You’ll learn to identify local medicinals, as well as how to harvest and store them. I’ll share a framework for understanding their medicinal uses, and then we’ll dig deeper into a handful of local and abundant species. Along the way, we’ll make medicine! We’ll eat a nourishing wild salad that we make together, learn to make a tincture, and there may be a few surprises, too.
Soup and bread lunch with wild salad will be provided as well as some healthy snacks.
Cost: $120 + HST
